Paul and Vibeke of Jaegerbakkens Kennel have been breeding dogs for more than 30 years. Their book describes in words and photos the breeding process and whelping of puppies. It starts with the question: "Should our bitch have puppies?" The book has 102 pages and includes more than 80 color photos that shows the process from the "Lady in Waiting" to the arrival of the individual puppies and their growth through the first 8 weeks until they are ready to go to their new homes. The book has the authors' sales contract as an example of what a breeder might consider having in writing when selling a pup.
